The climax of the first post-9/11 performance. Note especially the refrain. Here, as often in this performance of the song, “It’s a hard” sounds like “Yes, I know it’s hard.” Indeed, his third iteration in the final refrain seems to suggest as much: “I seen, it’s a hard!”
