In place of Dylan’s weathered rasp, we now hear pure-voiced commercial folk singing, with clean tone and careful sustain. Peter, Paul and Mary's voices blend into near indistinguishability when singing in unison, and the rhythm is decidedly straight, even prim, a contrast to Dylan's sprung syncopations.
